MISSION ADVANCEMENTWe all BelongWe are Jackson-Walnut Park Schools: children, teachers, family, alumni, and friends. Belonging to this extraordinary community benefits us all. Like a family, Jackson-Walnut Park thrives on the strength of our mutual support. Children are at the center of our community and we all work together to respect, encourage and develop the “whole child,” providing each student an extraordinary education. Participation in Annual Giving is part of our commitment to sustaining and strengthening this exceptional environment. Your contribution to the Annual Giving campaign goes directly to maintaining Jackson-Walnut Park’s excellence and to advancing our growth. Annual Giving is a community-wide and shared effort. The Office of Mission Advancement is charged with fundraising for Jackson-Walnut Park Schools. All of our fundraising activities are co-coordinated through this office and are joint efforts with the Board of Trustees, parents, alumni and friends. Give for GrowthJackson-Walnut Park’s financial health depends on the strong partnership between the school administration, the Board of Trustees, current families, alumni and friends. As a sponsored ministry of the Sister’s of Saint Joseph, Jackson-Walnut Park trusts in the generous financial support from this community to provide the margin of excellence that defines quality education. The Annual Fund Appeal - Click here to giveEvery year, parents, grandparents, trustees, alumni, alumni parents, friends, and faculty and staff are asked to make gifts to the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is a crucial component for enhancing the school’s academic and extracurricular activities, underwriting professional staff development, and improving campus resources and technology. By supporting Jackson-Walnut Park, donors show their commitment to the students and to the quality of education we provide. How can I contribute?Contributions to the Annual Fund can be made through many different vehicles including cash, credit card, securities, corporate matching gifts, and in-kind donations of goods or services. In addition, The Jackson-Walnut Park Schools work with donors to make recurring gifts through bank debit. Gifts to the Annual Fund are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Why do we fundraise? Isn’t tuition enough to cover the costs? As an independent school, Jackson-Walnut Park does not receive any financial support from national, state or local government, and relies solely on tuition fees and proceeds from fundraising to meet operating expenses. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of a Jackson-Walnut Park education. By keeping Jackson-Walnut Park’s tuition competitive, every student in the school is subsidized by the Annual Fund. What is the Annual Fund? The Annual Fund is the primary fundraising vehicle for Jackson-Walnut Park to raise the funds needed to reach the goals of the School’s operating budget. It is also one way that parents, grandparents, alumni and friends can show their commitment to a private Montessori pre-schools and Catholic school education. By keeping tuition increases to a minimum and soliciting contributions for the Annual Fund, we are able to:

By making us a philanthropic priority, you insure that our students spend their days in an enriching, nurturing, enlightening, and safe environment. Regardless of the amount of the contribution, every gift counts! Are gifts to the Annual Fund tax-deductible?Gifts to the Annual Fund are fully tax-deductible.
